We want to make recruiting as fair as possible

Our recruitment process is designed to be open and straightforward. All our jobs are listed here. The best way to apply is by filling out the online application form.

We shortlist candidates for interviews based on the information they give on the application form, so make sure you use it to tell us why you will be good at that particular job. Disabled applicants are guaranteed an interview if they meet the role's minimum criteria.

We like our interviews to be as stress-free as possible. We'll let you know in advance whether it will involve any tests so you'll have plenty of time to prepare.

After the interview, we’ll tell you as soon as we can whether or not you've been successful. We confirm a job offer once we've made any relevant checks and contacted referees.

Equality and diversity

This is part of our culture at Muir. We try to ensure that everyone is treated equally, whether they are applying for a job or already employed by us. Our staff, Board members and contractors receive equality and diversity training and we're looking at ways of improving our policies, services and strategies in this area.

We aim to employ a diverse workforce that reflects the communities where we work. This means that we seek to appoint people of all ages and from a wide range of backgrounds.

Our working practices are designed to be inclusive and flexible; we try to take into account our employees' different needs, whether these are related to a disability, responsibility for dependents, ethnicity, religion or a belief system. Muir is a gay-friendly employer and our staff have received transgender awareness training.
